Our Story

We’re a group of everyday car enthusiasts brought together by a shared passion for all things automotive. Our journey began at a local car show, where a simple conversation sparked a partnership rooted in our love for the car scene.

Over the years, we hosted small meets that steadily grew, fueled by community support and the excitement of bringing people together. But we wanted more something bigger, something unforgettable.

That’s when Tuner Decals and Kazoku joined forces to bring a new vision to life. And just like that, Matsuri Festival of Cars was born a celebration of car culture, creativity, and community.

What began as a passion project has become one of Calgary’s most anticipated automotive events. Our mission is to offer the city something it’s never experienced before an immersive, multi-interest festival where everyone feels welcome.

Matsuri is more than just a static car show. It’s a place where participants, spectators, and sponsors can connect through shared passions whether it’s car culture, anime, K-pop, or beyond. There’s something here for everyone.

At its core, Matsuri Festival of Cars is about community built by passionate individuals, driven by creativity, and united by a love for the culture we all share. This event is for you, by people just like you.

Whether you’re showcasing your build, soaking in the atmosphere, dancing to your favorite track, or discovering something new your support means everything. Every registration, share, and kind word helps us grow and continue bringing this dream to life.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Let’s keep building something special together. See you at the show.
